My partner was my first guinea pig after I learned about clearing allergies with EFT Tapping. He suffered so badly and so did I for that matter. It was like he had ‘Man flu’ for three quarters of the year!!!

In this article I am going to teach you how I helped my partner eliminate hay fever and his nasty hay fever symptoms using the Allergy Antidotes system.

It all started when I was watching Gary Craig on one of his EFT DVD’s in 2006, as I was training to become an EFT Practitioner. He introduced someone called Sandi Radomski whose website is www.AllergyAntidotes.orgShe was having success using EFT Tapping to eliminate allergies. It’s funny when something just clicks isn’t it? You know when you see or meet someone who just inspires you? Well that’s what happened to me that day.

How To Stop Cravings

Posted by: | Comments (2)

Are all your dieting efforts sabotaged by cravings? Do you just want to eat a healthy balanced diet but crave certain foods? Do you crave certain chemicals but don’t understand why? Do you feel out of control and angry with yourself?

Well stop beating yourself up. It could be that you have allergies, sensitivities or intolerances. And those allergies could be creating a whole lot of symptoms that you would never associate with allergies.

We are addicted to what we are allergic to.

We crave food and substances because we are addicted to them. Allergies, sensitivities and intolerances cause addiction.

I came across a great article about allergies at and took this snippet which gives a good explanation of why we crave the foods that we are sensitive to:

Dog Coughing - Are allergies to blame?

Photo courtesy of Tina Phillips at

Is your dog coughing, scratching, chewing or does he have hot spots? Has your vet told you that he can’t find any illness or disease that could be causing the symptoms? Then your pooch could be suffering from allergies.

Just like people, a dog’s immune system and nervous system can view any substance as dangerous. Even substances or inhalants that are harmless or classed as healthy to most dogs will cause problems in others.  When their systems feel like they are under attack the fight or flight response is activated in them and this can present itself in a whole array of skin, digestive and respiratory symptoms, which we then call allergic reactions.

Is 'Healthy Food' Triggering Your Hay Fever Symptoms?Did you know that eating fruit and veg can actually make your hay fever worse?

New research shows that almost 40% of hay fever (seasonal allergic rhinitis) sufferers also react to one or more of fruits, nuts, vegetables or spices  (well I could have told them that!). I think in my work it might be higher actually.

Oral Allergy Syndrome

This is a label that has been given to an allergic reaction in the mouth. I am not keen on using labels but I have used it here just to explain what it is.

In my work I have found that eating any foods that you are allergic to can weaken you immune system and trigger your hay fever symptoms. That is why I advise that as well as treating and clearing pollen, we look at any allergies to foods, even healthy ones and treat and clear those as well.

Tomato Allergy

Allergy To Tomatoes

Tomato Allergy

Who would have thought that you could be allergic to tomatoes? After all they are supposed to be healthy aren’t they?It is rare to have a severe reaction to tomatoes but it is not unheard of for a tomato allergy to cause anaphylactic shock and even death!

If you are reading this you or someone you love has probably had a reaction to tomatoes. During your research you have read that tomato allergies are rare. If that were true then why is this post viewed by a couple of hundred people every day?  I have so many people email me all the time who are reacting to tomatoes.

Most people have what would normally be classed as an intolerance to tomatoes rather than tomato allergy in the medical sense. So you may not even notice any symptoms, or may not relate the symptoms to the tomato. Remember it can take up to 72 hours after we have ingested something for symptoms to present themselves.

Alcohol Addiction Caused By Alcohol Intolerance? It seems that people are drinking a lot more than they ever have, especially women. I want to take a look at what the possible reasons  for that are and investigate whether alcohol intolerance or alcohol allergy could be causing alcohol addiction and what you can do about it. I think the two main reasons are:

1)  Using alcohol to numb emotions

It could be that you are using alcohol as an anaesthetic to numb some kind of emotional pain or pains in your life. If you deal with the emotions or trauma you might find that you no longer need to use alcohol as a tranquiliser. Or maybe you use it as a reward after a hard day at work or with the children. There are various techniques to help deal with the emotional side of alcohol addiction but I am not going to deal with them here as I am looking specifically at allergies in this post.

Definition Of Allergy

Posted by: | Comments (0)

My Definition Of An AllergyThere seems to be some confusion about the definition of allergy. This dates back to 1925 when opinions in the medical world split and two camps were formed. I would like to try to clear this confusion by explaining a simplified medical definition, my allergy definition and the definition of others who I respect working in the allergy field.

Medical Allergy Definition

The medical profession tends to define an allergy as causing the activation of immunoglobulin type E(IgE) antibodies. However millions of people experience many allergic symptoms every day without producing these antibodies. The medical profession would call these sensitivities, hypersensitivities and intolerances, not allergies.

Some Alternative Allergy Definitions

Dr Devi Nambudripad, who developed NAET (Nambudripad’s Allergy Elimination Techniques) states that, “An allergy is an adverse physical, physiological, and/or psychological response of an individual towards one or more substances also known as allergens”.

Allergy To Wheat Symptoms

Wheat allergy symptoms can come on straight after exposure to wheat or can take up to 72 hours. This is common of  most food allergies  or intolerances and it’s the reason why it can be so difficult to detect what we are actually allergic to without using muscle testing.

Today I want to look at what the typical wheat allergy symptoms or wheat intolerance symptoms are and what options are available to relieve the suffering.

Before we go on I would like to point out that we are dealing solely with wheat allergy, not gluten allergy, which will be the topic of another post.

Some wheat allergy symptoms to look out for are:

  • Itching in areas like the mouth and throat
  • Behavioural problems
  • Rash or hives
  • Intermitent or daily diarrhea, constipation, nausea and flatulence or belching

The Facts And Figures About AllergiesAs I see more and more people, especially children, around me suffering from allergies or allergy related conditions I decided to look online for some allergy facts and figures.

I would like to share what I found and to let you know that you and your family don’t have to be one of these statistics. Read to the end to find out why.

Take a look at these allergy facts from www.allergy

1) One in three of the UK population now has an allergy and it is rising at 5% a year.

2) There is only one consultant allergist per two million population: “Allergy Services in the NHS are totally inadequate and cannot cope with the rising amount and increasing severity of allergy in the UK,” says a new report by the Royal College of Physicians.

3) Asthma, rhinitis, and eczema have increased in incidence two to three fold in the past 20 years.

What Causes Allergies?

Posted by: | Comments (0)

We are electrical beingsIt was Gary Craig who first introduced me to the idea that our bodies are electrical circuits. Blockages and imbalances in that circulation can cause allergies. There are several factors that can cause these blockages and imbalances. Let’s take a look at what they are:

1. Inherited from close and distant relatives. Inherited allergies do not always take the same form in different generations. For example a father with asthma could have a child with eczema. The predipositon for allergy has been passed on but not the actual type of allergy.

2. ‘Energy Mismatch’ as Jame Thurnell-Read calls it. I love this phrase and it describes beautifully the work that I do and what this site is all about. This describes the ‘clash’ that occurrs between a person and the unsuitable energies of foods, drinks, chemicals, pestisides, environmental factors, bacteria, viruses, fungus, moulds, heavy metals, vaccines, MSG, aspartme etc. The list is endless!
